We're seeking a vigilant, professional, and reliable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and valued clientele.

Job Description: We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Security Guard to join our team and oversee the safety of our jewelry store. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various security situations in a calm and professional manner. This position is open to part-time and full-time applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

⚬ Monitor and secure the store premises, including entrances, exits, and all public areas.

⚬ Provide a visible security presence to deter theft and ensure the safety of employees and customers.

⚬ Respond quickly to any emergencies or security incidents, following established procedures.

⚬ Conduct routine security checks of the building, including doors, windows, and alarm systems.

⚬ Maintain security surveillance systems and report any suspicious activities or breaches.

⚬ Assist in crowd control during busy periods or special events to ensure a safe shopping environment.

⚬ Escort employees and customers as necessary to ensure their safety when leaving or entering the store.

⚬ Communicate effectively with store management and law enforcement when needed.

⚬ Report and document all security-related incidents and activities accurately.

⚬ Maintain a calm, professional demeanor while interacting with customers and team members.

⚬ Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure the security of the store outside of business hours.

Qualifications:

⚬ Preference will be given to veterans or individuals with prior military experience.

⚬ Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred but not required.

⚬ Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to potential security threats.

⚬ Good communication skills and the ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.

⚬ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.

⚬ Physical stamina to stand or patrol for extended periods.

⚬ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

⚬ Ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of discretion.
