Starting its journey as a custom jewelry designer and manufacturer over a century ago, Market Street Diamonds has expanded its services as a full gemological service provider since 2009. At present, we are the only diamond cutter in the mid-Atlantic region.

Our Master Gemologist, Dino Lonzano, is a Gemological Institute of America graduate in Diamond Essentials, Colored Stone Essentials, Jewelry Essentials, Gem Identification, and Colored Stone Grading. Dino was born into the business and grew up helping his dad and uncles at their Silver Spring, Maryland, shops with jewelry creations and luxury watch repair. With more than four decades of experience, Dino has seen, cut, and valued millions of dollars of diamonds and colored stones.
